The Sioux Falls Roller Dollz: Macromedia Flash, Photo Gallery, Forum, Polls, Video. A fairly active website during the roller derby season. I donate all my time with the Rollerdollz. These gals put on awesome events with their proceeds going to a local charity. KJLY Radio: A part of Kinship Christian Radio Broadcasting, I actually designed and manage 6 sites similar to KJLY. Sites contain animated graphics, auto-refreshing dynamic data, streaming audio, and photo gallery. Created an extensive back end to allow the site owner to modify various sections of their pages. This keeps the content fresh without having to contact the developer for every little change.
The 300 Building: Worked with another developer/graphics designer (Jody Staples) to put this site together. Mr. Staples did the layout and graphics, I created a back end to allow the owner to upload all their vacancies and building directory in Excel format. This made it easy for the owner to modify their site without having to call the developer.
Dynamic Services, LLC: Dynamic Services is an up and coming property management company in Sioux Falls. They wanted a clean way to show off their properties to prospective renters. They also wanted it easy manage their listings. With PHP and mySQL back end, they can update their listings, add photos, take properties offline, and even feature certain properties. Visitors can search for their next Dynamic move. This was a joint project with developer/graphic designer Jody Staples.
I am currently working on the Harrisburg Days website. (June 5-7, bring the whole family!) The are looking for a fresh new site that they can update their schedule of events. We'll be adding a portal for vendors to sign up. Registration pages for all the events. Ecommerce for selling Harrisburg Days shirts as well as tickets to the events. Look for this once to be complete in early February. This is also a joint project with Jody Staples.
You may see a common theme here, Jody Staples and I have been doing alot of work together.
When shopping around for someone to create your webpage, you may find that alot of times someone who's good with creating dynamic pages is not always the person who can give you premium graphics. I strongly believe its the whole left brain/right brain thing, but by joining a talented graphic designer and an experienced web developer together, it gives you the best of both worlds.
